Rectangles, rings, dots and lines

Reference for the shape controls that appear with supported timer templates.

Shape sections appear in More settings according to the selected template. A control only affects elements that the template actually draws.

Digit rectangle

This is the shape around an individual digit, rather than the complete days/hours/minutes/seconds group.

  • Fill color / Fill color 2: the primary and alternate rectangle fills.
  • Border: border thickness.
  • Border color: common outline color.
  • Rounding: corner rounding of the filled shape.
  • Rounding border: corner rounding of the outline.
  • Padding > Top, Right, Bottom, Left: space inside/around the digit rectangle layout.
  • Single Colors for borders and fills: separate colors for Days, Hours, Minutes and Seconds.

An alternate fill is used only by templates that draw that second region. Setting a color does not add a new shape to a design.

Segment rectangle

This is the larger shape around a complete time-unit segment.

Fill color, Fill color 2, Border, Border color, Rounding, Rounding border and the four Padding fields have the same roles as in Digit rectangle, but apply to the whole segment.

The border and fill Single Colors groups override the common settings independently for Days, Hours, Minutes and Seconds.

Use digit padding to adjust the small boxes; use segment padding to adjust the enclosing unit. Large padding or borders can increase the image size.

Ring

  • Fill color / Fill color 2: the interior or alternate filled region used by the ring design.
  • Border: ring-outline thickness.
  • Border color / Border color 2: the two border/progress colors.
  • Radius: ring size.
  • Reverse: reverses the direction of the progress drawing. It does not reverse the order of time units.
  • Round border: rounded ends on supported ring strokes. The Ring Pro preset enables this by default.
  • Single Colors: per-unit overrides for ring borders and fills.

The ring is a visual treatment of the countdown, not a separate deadline.

Small circles

Dot-ring templates expose Radius, Count, Fill color and Fill color 2 for the small circles, plus per-unit color overrides. Radius changes each dot; Count changes how many dots make up the ring.

Small lines

Tick-ring templates expose Width, Height, Count, Fill color and Fill color 2, plus per-unit color overrides. Width and Height change each tick, not the overall canvas.

Resetting

Blank numeric inputs use automatic values. Clear a color override to return to the default behavior. Reset design resets the current template's visual settings together; it asks for confirmation and still requires saving the timer afterward.
