This policy explains storage on the Timers for Email website and dashboard. Read it together with our Privacy Policy. It is separate from a customer's email campaign and from Paddle's payment services.
1. Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small values a website asks your browser to keep and send with later requests. Local storage keeps values for that website between visits, while session storage normally lasts for a browser tab's session. Browsers may clear or restrict any of these earlier.
We use storage for sign-in, service functions and the preferences you request. No optional website analytics or advertising cookies are currently enabled. Not every entry below is created on every visit: many appear only after you sign in, choose a setting or use the timer editor.
2. Sign-in and service functions
- Supabase authentication: sb-…-auth-token and related entries. First-party cookies maintain your account session. Large values may be split into numbered cookie chunks; an authentication flow may also use a code-verifier entry. The current authentication library sets a maximum cookie lifetime of 400 days, but token validity is managed separately: tokens can expire, be refreshed or be removed on sign-out. A cookie lifetime is not a promise that you will stay signed in for that long.
- email-timer-preview-hash. Session storage associates editor previews within a browser tab. It normally lasts for that tab's session and is not an advertising identifier.
These functions are used to provide the service you request. Blocking authentication storage can prevent sign-in. Clearing editor storage can start a new preview session.
3. Settings you choose
- theme. Local storage remembers your light, dark or system theme. Changing the theme can also set a cookie for up to one year. The local-storage value has no automatic expiry.
- lang / NEXT_LOCALE. Language selection and locale routing may store your selected language. Current language cookies do not specify a persistent expiry and are treated as session cookies; browser session restoration may preserve them.
- sidebar_state. A cookie remembers whether you opened or collapsed the dashboard sidebar, for up to seven days.
- last-selected-team. A cookie remembers your selected workspace, for up to 30 days.
- auth_last_method. Local storage remembers your last sign-in method and may include the email used, so the sign-in screen can offer a relevant hint. The application discards this hint when it is next read after 30 days; this is not a scheduled browser deletion.
These values support the choices and sign-in workflow you use; they are not used for advertising. You can change a setting in the interface or remove the corresponding site data in your browser. Avoid retaining sign-in hints on a shared device.
4. Remembering this notice
cookie_consent_status_v1 is a first-party local-storage entry that remembers your choice to continue with necessary storage. It has no automatic expiry and remains until you reopen the notice, clear site data or we change its version. If browser storage is blocked, we remember the choice only in the current page session and the notice may reappear after a reload.
The current notice records no permission for optional tracking. Its button is an acknowledgement of the necessary-storage setup, not consent to new purposes, advertising or future analytics services.
5. Optional analytics and advertising
We do not currently load Google Analytics, advertising pixels or another external website analytics provider. There are therefore no optional tracking categories to enable in the current widget.
If we add optional tracking, we will update this policy and provide the relevant choices before activating it where consent is required. We will not treat a previous acknowledgement of this notice as permission for a new purpose.
6. Paddle checkout and billing
When you open checkout or the billing portal, Paddle and its payment partners may use their own cookies and similar technologies to process payments, secure transactions and provide their services. Their storage depends on the payment flow and is not managed by our website notice.
For Paddle's purposes, controls and retention information, see Paddle's privacy notice. We do not store full payment-card details in our application database.
7. Timer images in email
Loading an embedded GIF or WebP timer can create a server request log and count a view without using a browser tracking cookie. Those requests may include an IP address, request URL, timestamp and client information, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
The website widget does not opt an email recipient out of timer request logging, control a mailbox provider's image cache or provide consent for a customer's campaign. Customers must make the disclosures and obtain permissions required for their recipients and measurement practices.
8. Your controls
Use Cookie settings below or the cookie icon to reopen the website notice. There are currently no optional tracking switches because no optional website trackers are enabled. Continuing does not delete authentication cookies or change the settings you requested.
Your browser can block cookies, remove individual entries or clear all site data. Clearing authentication data can sign you out, and clearing preferences can reset your theme, workspace or sign-in hint. Local storage is specific to the browser, device and website origin, so settings do not automatically carry across devices or domains.
You can read this policy without JavaScript; the notice controls require JavaScript. Browser privacy controls remain available independently.
9. Changes and contact
We will revise this policy when our storage practices change and update the date above. Questions about cookies or personal information can be sent to [email protected]. Our Privacy Policy explains data use and privacy requests in more detail.
